Wence and I are both headed to the Jacksonport gallery to touch base with everyone and mount some of our latest works in the gallery while we clean, sort, gift, and…big news …. sell our beloved Jacksonport property. It is such a bittersweet moment for us, we have such gratitude for the 28 active years of Martinez Studio in Door Co. Our Wisconsin community is a beautiful web that interlocks our creative and personal lives. We can’t wait to hug you all, look into your eyes and thank you from the bottom of our very mushy hearts.
In 2020, Covid jumpstarted our dream of Santa Fe representation with a pop-up - and then turned permanent - Martinez Studio location on Canyon Road. An intimate and focused showroom, it feels like a Smithsonian booth that we don’t have to break down! We have realized that we are spread thin between three working studios and we are embracing this new location and direction
We truly look forward to our last open season in Door County - please arrange to visit beginning June 16th!
In other news - we began a series of affordable prints of Sandra’s works on paper in the Codice and Dante series and hope to do more. You can view new works in Santa Fe and shortly, Door County! Stay tuned for more and visit our website often for updates.
